Week four- Finding out i’m pregnant.

November 23rd, 2011 § 4 Comments

well, im saying i’m four weeks pregnant for now. i’ll update it when i find out my actual date. but from the calenders i’ve looked at online and my due date, it says im four weeks pregnant. but i’m technically two! argh, they are so confusing! i can’t wait to get to the doctors and have them actually date it!

anyway let’s get on. i’m about, four days late on my period so me and my boyfriend decided to do a test, now we took two tests last night and they had a verrrrrrrrrry very faint red line on them, so we were a bit confused about what it meant. however we decided to splash out on a clear blue digital test! one that’s easy to read! i recommend getting one of those! so i took that this morning. now, these tests tell you how far along you are from the date of conception! remember that for later! so i’m in the bathroom doing my business and oh my gosh it was like niagra falls! my boyfriend went out and got one in the morning and because the other tests were so vauge we decided to use my morning bathroom break to do it as the levels of HCG are stronger, so i was holding it in for half an hour until he came back.

so pregnancy test done, and then comes the worst part, waiting. now this text flashes a little sand timer until the result comes up. i couldn’t bear to sit there and watch it so my boyfriend places it on the side next to him. a few minutes later he glances over the the side, picks up the test and hides the screen from me, here it is. crunch time! after a minute of getting myself together he turns it over and shows me. and there it is. right in front of me on the screen.

Pregnant.
1-2weeks.

i didn’t know how to react! i was so shocked, but happy! you see me and my boyfriend had a little accident a few months ago when the condom split and i was late. turns out it was just a false alarm, but in that time we spoke about what if i was pregnant? we decided we would be able to cope and we would both be very happy with the little child in my belly.
i was glad that it explained the tiredness, sore breasts and constant need to pee and feeling a little bit woozy at times!

so we’ve had a good talk and we’re going to the doctors asap and setting up a appointment. we’re also planning to tell his mother tomorrow. that should be a whole lot of fun! it’s my mom i’m worried about the most.

i just really hope it all goes well. im a very stressed person as it is and i really don’t need any extra stress at the moment.

  • Really Appreciate this article, how can I make is so that I get an email every time you make a new update?

  • So what are the best recommendations on how to get pregnant, Well I’m not going to profess to be the worlds greatest knowledge on the subject but I’m quite properly read on the subject and I have also had a number of experiences to begin with hand. In short I think that most people over complicate the problem of getting pregnant and like always we appear for the short term, quick fix solutions rather than trying to do it the natural or typical way.

well it took me and my boyfriend two months to conceive. the best tips are is to have sex every other day, we used to have sex one day, then miss a day ect ect. that way it builds up the sperm too. and you wont miss when you’re ovulating. also after sex pop your hips up on a pillow and lie there for half an hour to help it work its way down. that’s all we did really. so good luck!! and remember to have fun!
